A Community

Native Tomato Was founded on being the staple for fresh local natural Produce and Proteins. The Idea is simple: Serve delicious, fresh seasonal food that our guests and community will want to return to week after week. The way we do this is by providing an eating experience unlike any other by introducing both the farmer and the foodie through an online and local community called Our Native Lo-Cal! Check out our website to get involved!

Eat Together

Each Menu Item Is a vision of the community speaking out about what they want to eat

Here at Native Tomato we source our ingredients straight from our various farmer’s in the flourishing farming community in and around Mckinney, TX. Using a state of the art communal farming partnership program called Lo-Cal. This helps us serve the highest quality local seasonal ingredients, including Grade A  grass fed beef and GMO Free products. We also love and support our farmers and we nurture these relationships to ensure that our farmers produce product that meets our high expectations at a cost-effective price-point.

Using forecast data, we are able to accurately project the amount of ingredients needed every week according to what is in season. This does two things, it helps us deliver the freshest local product at the lowest price possible for our customers. So take a look at our menu and feel free to sign up and become apart of what we are doing in our Lo-Cal Forum, share your ideas, become inspired and come join us for a meal! Our food is sure to please and will leave a lasting smile knowing you are eating something nourishing, delicious and directly supportive of your local farming community!

The Visionarys

The Visionarys

Solomon Barr

EXECUTIVE CHEF
Owner/Farmer Relations

Solomon grew up in Southern Louisiana and is a native New Orleanian. Growing up in a small town outside of new orleans he developed his cooking style around big family and that "fine wine" in the words of his Mother. Inspired at a young age from a family friend Luigi. Italian food filled his passions.

Geneva Barr

Sous/Pastry Chef
Owner/Manager

Geneva is a "Bayou Girl" from Lafayette Louisiana. She grew up in the kitchen, using chairs as a bed and a table cloth as a blanket. It was the only thing she had during her grandparents long hours working the family's 3rd generation restaurant. Her creative psyche was formed from laughter and sounds of happy cajun eaters.
